Our services

During a free-consultation call or visit, we will discuss what your garden priorities and expectations are, followed by our recommendations of services and a quote.

It is important to acknowledge that gardens are open systems, and as such, even if everything is done right, sometimes things don’t go according to plan.

  • Design services are for those who are looking to get the most out of their current garden, or those who are just starting to imagine the possibilities. Designs are made to-scale and include notes about your property that might impact the microclimate. All designs include the layout of crops and suggestions for succession planting. If you plan to work with us to plant out and soil prep your garden space, your plants can be sourced directly through us. Specialty variety plants can be grown if plant list submissions are made before March.

  • If you are starting from scratch, after approving your garden design, we will break ground to start constructing your garden. If you decide to go with raised beds, we recommend building them out of cedar for longevity. While this is can be a larger investment up front, we want your garden to last for years without leaching harmful chemicals into your soil. We will not build any beds out of green-treated lumber, even if requested.

High quality soil is sourced locally and is amended using inoculated compost.

Fencing is also recommended for any garden install. Options can be discussed during your consultation.

  • We offer a garden prep and clean-up services for those who want to garden without all the heavy lifting.

For clients who have fruiting trees or brambles, recommendations for care will be suggested during the initial consultation and will be scheduled for care during dormancy.

  • This service covers all the essentials from getting your plants in the ground to helping maintain them throughout the season. Maintenance visits are not required, but are highly recommended especially to new gardeners. During maintenance visits, clients are encouraged to participate in the garden to learn alongside us. Sometimes harvesting happens during maintenance visits to promote the vigor of the plant.

  • If you are going out of town, you can schedule us to help care for your garden.
